Ordering and Payment
At checkout, enter your discount code in the Discount code box. Before you place your order, double-check that your code has been applied successfully. Â
Only one discount code can be used per order. Discount codes don’t apply to Customized, Sale, or Clearance items, and select products may be excluded from discounts.Â
Unfortunately, you can no longer make changes after you submit your order. We process and ship your order as quickly as possible, so our system will not be able to retrieve or edit them.
If you placed an order online using your email address, you should receive an order confirmation in your email inbox within 48 hours after order placement. Please also check your Spam/Junk or Promotions email folder.
Per our terms of service, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any bulk order placed on our website. This includes orders placed via the same account, customer, payment method, address and/or other order that is identified as fraudulent. We reserve the right to prohibit purchases of any products intended for resale, distribution, etc. unless the purchase is made by a pre-qualified vendor.
Once you place your order, an order confirmation is automatically sent to your email. You can also view your invoice anytime in your Stanley account under Order History.
We accept credit card payments through our secure payment gateway. We currently accept: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay
Yes! You can checkout as a Guest. Order confirmation emails and order-related communication will be sent to the email address you provide during Guest Checkout.
Shipping and Delivery
Check the status of your order anytime in your account under Order History or by entering your order number in our Order Status tracker.
We ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Most orders arrive within 5-7 business days but may be delayed during sales events, holidays, and inclement weather. You’ll receive an email with shipping details once your order is on the way.

We don’t currently offer international shipping.
We’re not able to combine separate orders into one shipment, but we always do our best to pack items from a single order together in as few shipments as possible.

Returns and Refunds
If your item(s) have been purchased directly from the Stanley website within the last (30) days, we can process a return label for you. We accept returns of items purchased from the Stanley website within (30) days for a refund minus any shipping fees. Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging. We will not accept returns for customized products or items purchased outside of the Stanley website. Once you check out, your order can’t be changed or cancelled. Don’t worry—our return shipping is always free, so once you receive your item, you can return it easily.
If your item was purchased from the Stanley website and delivered within the last 30 days, we can help you with a refund. Reach out to our team to request a refund.
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging. Refunds will be returned to your original form of payment and should reflect on your next billing cycle.
If you purchased your product from another retailer, you'll need to request a refund from that retailer.
Our Take Back program lets you send eligible steel and stainless steel Stanley products back to be recycled, instead of throwing them away. For each eligible item you return, you get a $5 credit for a future purchase at Stanley1913.com (up to four per year, per the program terms), and Stanley donates $5 to Ocean Conservancy—up to $200,000 per year. Nice!

Warranty and Replacement
To submit a warranty claim, please fill out our online Help Ticket.
Stanley products are warranted to be free from any defect in workmanship or materials, provided they’re used according to the instructions included with your product. This warranty does not cover component parts, cosmetic defects, or malfunction due to alteration or accident. To submit a claim, you’ll need to provide the purchase location, date of purchase, and clear, evenly lit images showing:
- Entire product in full view 
- Bottom of the product with all text clearly legible 
- Defect/failure (if visible)
Use natural light and plain backgrounds for clear photos, and include your order number if you have it—this speeds up your claim.
Check the bottom of your Stanley for product information, including the item number and size/capacity.

The warranty on our drinkware and food containers (not including lids, seals and straws) will last the life of the product.

Product Information

All Stanley items comply with Prop 65 and FDA requirements. Also, all contact surfaces are guaranteed to be safe and BPA-Free. The steel we use is 18/8, or grade 304, otherwise known as food-grade stainless steel. Like all of our products, our stainless-steel items must pass rigorous health and safety tests before making them available to the public.
Our products are FDA tested and approved, and all contact surfaces are guaranteed to be safe and BPS/BPA-free. There are seven classes of plastics. Type 7 is the catch-all "other" class. Because our products are made of multiple materials, we are obligated to use the Type 7 code. However, as mentioned previously, any surface that comes into contact with food or beverage does not contain BPS or BPA.
We use a BPA-free polypropylene for the outer plastic material on our stoppers. This plastic is safe to use with food and beverages.
Preheat or precool your vacuum bottle, mug, or food jar by filling it with warm or cold tap water. Let stand for five minutes. Empty the bottle and immediately fill with your favorite hot or cold beverage. Lastly, secure the stopper and lid as quickly as possible to avoid heat loss.
We recommend hand washing your Stanley drinkware with warm water and soap. If it’s dishwasher-safe (check the bottom of your product), always place it on the top rack, away from the hottest water.
You can refresh your stainless steel Stanley by filling it with warm water and a non-abrasive household cleaner (or a mixture of warm water and baking soda). Soak for 30 minutes, then scrub with a bristle brush or soft sponge and rinse thoroughly. Some customers also use white vinegar or lemon juice to remove stains and odors.
Stainless steel is rust-resistant, but not rust-proof. If you see rust on your Stanley, sprinkle baking soda or vinegar on the dampened affected area. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then scrub with a non-abrasive sponge and rinse thoroughly.
To thoroughly clean under the gasket or seal, we recommend soaking the top of the cup in white vinegar, lemon juice, or a mixture of warm water and baking soda. With some products, the gasket or seal can be carefully removed with a small tool or instrument and soaked separately.
We don't recommend putting milk or dairy products in our vacuum bottles or food jars for extended periods of time, as bacteria growth can occur at specific temperatures. Fermenting food and beverages may also cause pressure to build up over time. For more information on milk and dairy products, please consult the U.S. FDA at www.fda.gov.
We don't recommend using dry ice in a sealed container. The rapid evaporation of the CO2 from solid to gas can produce unwanted pressure buildup inside your Stanley.
Check the bottom of your product to see if it’s dishwasher-safe. If it is, always place it on the top rack where it’s away from the hottest water. If it isn’t, hand wash it with warm water and soap.
No. Stanley products are not microwave-safe and placing them in the microwave can damage both the product and your appliance.
No. Stanley products are not freezer-safe. Expanding liquids can damage your product.
One of our favorite features is our vacuum insulation technology, which keeps drinks at the ideal temperature. Our manufacturing process currently employs the use of an industry standard pellet to seal the vacuum insulation at the base of our products; the sealing material includes lead. Once sealed, this area is covered with a durable stainless steel layer, making it inaccessible to consumers. Rest assured that no lead is present on the surface of any Stanley product that comes into contact with the consumer nor the contents of the product. In the rare occurrence the base cap of a product comes off due to ordinary use and exposes this seal, it is eligible for our Lifetime Warranty. Like most of our stainless-steel metal products, our coffee makers, insulated food jars, and cook sets are dishwasher safe. If you prefer, you can hand wash your Stanley camping cookware and other gear with mild dish soap and warm water.
Our insulated, hard-sided coolers and water jug are easy to clean. Just hand wash with mild dish soap and warm water after each use. To remove any lingering odors, wipe down the interior with white vinegar, and then rinse.
Our stainless-steel food storage jars are vacuum-insulated to maintain the temperature of food for hours. Depending on the product you choose, the contents will stay hot or cold for at least 7 hours. If you’re looking for maximum thermal protection, we recommend our 24-oz Master Unbreakable Food Jar with QuadVac™ insulation. Food will easily stay hot for 20 hours and cold for 24 hours.
Customization
Customized Stanley products are made uniquely for you and are not eligible for a return.
If there’s a printing error and your product differs from your approved mockup, submit a Help Ticket within 30 days from the delivery date—we’ll make it right. Please note that we can’t accept returns or exchanges for spelling or design mistakes made during customization.
All customized Stanley products ship separately from non-customized items. You might receive one shipment before the other.
You can choose from our text, monograms, and graphics—or add your own custom graphics!

All eligible items show a Customize button right on their product page. We’re always updating our engraving assortment—see all our customizable products in our Stanley Create Collection.
Yes! All four sizes of the Quencher are available to engrave across a variety of colors.
You bet! You can upload your own graphics as long as the file is under 10MB in size and in one of these formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, EPS, or PDF. We recommend using a PNG file for best results.
All graphics must comply with our Customized-Product Terms of Sale, which include important limitations on the types of content that we accept.
All available colors to customize will be in the customizer to select from.
Stanley Create orders are not eligible for promotions or discounts at this time.
You sure can! After creating your custom Stanley, upon clicking Add to Cart, you will be shown a mockup image of your design prior to officially adding it to your cart. This image will show the front and the back of your order, so that you can ensure it meets your expectations. Please review the mockup carefully and confirm that it is accurate, as all purchases of customized products are final.
Unfortunately, we don't offer custom design services at this time.
You can only choose one design. You'll receive a pop-up asking if you would like to delete and re-create a design when clicking between the text, monogram, and graphics options.
No, you can’t edit custom designs after checkout. We encourage making all changes before completing your purchase, as customized Stanley product sales are final once your order is placed.
